Bailey is a licensed psychologist in group practice in Lancaster, PA. Dr. Bailey primarily specializes in combing psychology with spirituality, wellness and self-empowerment. She
views her work with others from a holistic perspective, in which connection
of the mind, emotions, body and spirit, as well as the individual's relationship
to others and the world is recognized. Dr. Bailey honors and works with
all faith traditions.
Strengths, not just weaknesses are actively
explored in session, as clients are encouraged to draw upon their internal,
external and spiritual resources with her guidance and support. In addition to a holistic perspective, Dr. Bailey incorporates cognitive-behavioral, family systems, process, and insight oriented therapy.
Dr. Bailey's passion is teaching women how to love themselves and be who they are as well as guiding people on the path to becoming spiritual warriors.
Dr. Bailey has a B.A. in History from Franklin
and Marshall College (1983), an M.Ed. in Counseling from Millersville
University (1992) and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Lehigh University
(1998). Her pre- and post-doctoral hours were completed at the University
of Pennsylvania. Dr. Bailey has taught spiritual concepts since 1998 and
she also holds a black belt in the Japanese martial art of aikido, also
known as the art of peace.
